はじめに
FIREを目指し始めた際、どのくらい貯金をすればFIREできるのでしょうか。
実際FIREを決断する際に詳細な額は確認するとして、まずFIREを目指して資金を増やし始める際に、ざっくりとしたイメージを持つためにこの記事を書いています。
投資リターンの想定
単純な話、所有している資産の投資リターンの分だけで生活できれば、資産を減らさずに生活することができ、FIREが実現できることになります。
よって、目標貯金額（資産）を決めるにあたり、その貯金額から得られる投資リターンを何％に想定するかを決める必要があります。
投資リターンをいくつに想定するかが問題なのですが、まずは、6％で考えたいと思います。6％は割と高い設定だと思いますが、根拠は以下の通りです。
ニッセイ基礎研究所様のサイトより、『MSCIコクサイ』を『1989年12月末（日本バブル崩壊直前）に一括投資をして、2021年9月末まで保持』した際の年率利回りが、8.6％となります。
現状の株の譲渡益や配当に対する税率20.315％なので、税金を除いた手取りとしては6.9％（≒8.9％×（1-0.20315））となります。そこで投資リターンの想定は、6.9％に対してちょっと保険をかけて、6％と設定しました。
S＆P500などの米国株を選択せずに『MSCIコクサイ』を選択したのは、近年30年では米国株のリターンはもっと高いですが、必ずしも今後も米国株の調子がよいとは考えていないからです。
米国株より広く分散投資させておく必要があると考えており、投資リターンの想定は『MSCIコクサイ』で考えることにしました。
目標貯金額の算出
いよいよ目標貯金額の算出です。どのくらいの水準の生活をしたいかによって目標額は変わるので、表1にまとめました。
表1の見方を説明します。
現在400万の年収がある方は、手取りはざっくり312万円。（手取りの額に関しては、酒居会計マネーブログ様の値を使わせていただきました）
想定投資リターンは6.0％ですので、目標貯金額として、5205万円貯めれば、計算上FIREできることになります。年収800万円の方が同じ生活水準でFIREするためには、9802万円の貯金が必要になります。
ただ実際年収800万円の人でも貯金等をして全てを使っているわけではないのて、その場合は、月額生活費の列から目標貯金額を算出することができます。月32.3万円で生活できているのではれば、6456万円貯めればでFIREできます。
実際計算してみると、そこまで高い目標でないことがわかりました。
